SMF-Nuke Version 1.0 HERE NOW!
Go to the Downloads module and download!
Let us know of bugs.

The first fully modified version of SMF-Nuke is now available! This is an integration of SMF (Simple Machines Forums) with PHP Nuke. The "Nuke" code has been totally rewritten moving it past the "patched" series. All data is filtered/sanitized, and escaped. All MySQL queries are "freed". HTML is written for XHTML Strict. More news to follow after the website is upgraded.

3 new modules are ready for you to install!  They are the Groups, NSN_Downloads, and Submit_Downloads modules.  We are able to offer these converted modules thanks to Bob Marion of NukeScripts.net. He has allowed us to use and distribute these very powerful Nuke modules. Thanks again Bob!

We have more modules nearly finished, and should be releasing them shortly. Stay tuned!

SMF News Please DO NOT update to SMF 2.0 beta

DO NOT update to SMF 2.0 beta!!!  Yes, it is out, but as the announcement has said, it is a BETA release, which means there are going to be some issues.  Currently version 1.1.4 is working fine for SMF-Nuke.  From what I have tested, we will not need to modify any of the SMF-Nuke code, except for the themes.  Since the basic piece of SMF we use here was not changed, we will not have to worry about recoding everything.  :)  yeah!

What I will strongly recommend is that SMF-Nuke users NOT upgrade SMF until maybe 2 months after the full 2.0 version is released.  This may be 6 months or more from now, judging on past release times.   Newer does not always mean better, and in this case, it will be best to be patient and let SMF work out all the bugs before we hitch our wagon to them again.  :-)

We will probably have SMF-Nuke 2.0 out before the stable release of SMF 2.0 is out.  Just a guesstimate, but I would be surprised if SMF 2.0 final is out before early 2009.

I have started a new forum category for Nuke Module converting, creating, and modifying.  Access to this board is limited to those who wish to assist with this.  To that end, I am seeking help in working with the Nuke modules.  If you would like to help, send me a PM  CLICK HERE  You must be a logged in registered user to send a PM.

In this special section of SMF-Nuke, there are more detailed explanations of how to create/convert/modify Nuke modules.  You can follow along on how to create the Support Desk module we are currently working on.  Also, you can see and assist with some new ways to modify Nuke modules.  yes.... very secretive....  lol.   ;)
